Paper doll

Contemporary folk artist Julie Arkell’s unmistakable and much loved creatures are currently visiting the Selvedge shop. ‘Not out of the forest yet’ is lurking in a thicket of papier mâché trees, ‘Best homemade clothes’ wears her floral dress and medal with pride, whilst ‘Going the long way home’ wanders down the knitted ‘Path to Nowhere’.
