Les Soeurs Anglaises

I have just attended Les Soeurs Anglaises embroidery course run by the lovely Susie Cowie. Centuries ago their Maison de Maître was a working walnut mill, but it has been tastefully transformed and provides the perfect place to have supper by the pool. L’espace is their newly converted barn which boasts a superb studio overlooking the Dordogne countryside.  It was a glorious week of embroidery, with delicious food, in truly picturesque surroundings. Les Soeurs Anglaises were so welcoming, it was the perfect textiles holiday…

Glad to hear that you had a wonderful time – you were already so excited about going when we met at the Spring fair!
Well a space just happens to have become available on the A-Z bookart workshop at the end of July….if anyone is tempted, they should get in touch with Les Soeurs pdq.
    Best and bookiest, Rachel

I was there for Patricia Roberts knitting workshop – it was EXCELLENT – new skills, new friends, great recipes, gorgeous garden, generous hosts in a superb location- even a fun trip to a huge brocante! I loved it and highly recommend the whole experience.
