Sew your own in the city

Homemade London is a new craft salon that offers evening and weekend workshops in everything from bag-making and lingerie to signature scent creation, upholstery and chandelier making. It also offers sewing-machine and workshop space hire by the hour, organises private parties and hosts fashion seminars.

Aiming to celebrate craft design talent in a beautiful setting, founder, Nicola Barron, has worked with leading designer-makers to create bespoke designs, using the finest materials.

Wow sounds like a really good idea. I work on Edgware road and have walked past the shop on Seymour place a few times over the last few weeks, and i must say it is coming along well. I will certainly be booking a workshop, i just wish there were more places like this around…
