PAPER CLOTHING WITH JENNIFER COLLIER

Saturday 5 August 2017, 11-5, £120 per person, including a light lunch and refreshments

with Jennifer Collier

A leader in the upcycling revolution in art and craft, Jennifer has been investigating the re-used and recycled since 1999. “Giving new life to things that would otherwise go unloved or be thrown away,” is central to her practice.

On this course Jennifer will teach you five experimental techniques that will be used to create the surfaces for paper garments, such as gloves, ties, dicky bows and small dresses. These will be decorated and embellished with buttons, ribbons, waxed doilies and hand stitch, to become exquisite paper models.

8 people per class, this workshop is suitable for beginners.
