THE EVENT
The team behind the cult magazine Selvedge brings a curated collection of fifty merchants and makers to Charleston. Our exhibitors sell a range of rare vintage fabrics,  covetable haberdashery and skillfully handmade textile treasures. The fair offers the perfect opportunity to meet makers, catch up with old friends, and pick up that special something.

THE VENUE
The fair will take place in a marquee and barns in the grounds of the former home of the Bloomsbury Group. Charleston opened its doors to the public in 1986, 70 years after Vanessa Bell and Duncan Grant moved in. This house, with its renowned hand-paintedinterior,  was home and inspiration to the many artists, writers and thinkers of the Bloomsbury Group.

MAKE A DAY OF IT

Enjoy a guided walk in the South Downs with our  free map.
Relax with a cup of tea or a delicious lunch made with seasonal British produce in the Outer Studio Cafe.  Tour the house and learn about the lives of the Bloomsbury Group advance booking is recommended, £12.50.

GETTING THERE
Charleston is sign-posted off the A27, 7 miles east of Lewes, between the villages of Firle and Selmeston. Please follow the signs from the A27 as the post code is not accurate for sat navs. Charleston offers free parking.
