Loop was opened in 2005 by
Susan Cropper, a New Yorker living in London, England. Reflecting the owner’s genuine passion for textiles, the shop oozes inspiration, colour, textures and authentic creativity.

Loop is like the best yarn fair you can imagine along with incredible staff who are expert knitters and warm and lovely people. Specialising in natural fibres and with a huge selection of hand-dyed yarns from artisan dyers sourced from all over the world, they are also the European Flagship shop for both
Quince & Co and
Brooklyn Tweed yarns.

There is a vast range of handmade and vintage haberdashery including ribbons, buttons and pompoms. As well as a host of classes for a range of abilities from visiting teachers from around the world. These are held throughout the year.

Loop also works with textile designers to create beautiful and useful objects. With treasures in the shop from Nathalie Lete, Miga de Pan, Sophie Digard, Julie Arkell and Tiny Happy - it really is a little bit of heaven in a knitting shop.

For their 10 anniversary this year a wealth of brilliant designers and dyers have contributed to their most recent book
‘10’ including Ysolda Teague, Stephen West, Julie Arkell, Kirstin Kapur and Paulina Popiolek. A celebration of ten years of Loop, it has 12 knitting patterns using bespoke colours created for their anniversary. For S
elvedge's 12 days of Christmas competition Loop has offered 12 lucky winners a copy of
10.

Is the pattern for the cabled sweater shown in the first photo included in the ‘10’ book? If not – any idea where I could get it?
