Swedish designer Gudrun Sjödén has created beautiful, functional home wear and eco style for women of all ages since the mid seventies. Today the textile artist, herself in her seventies, has gained a cult following among women all around the globe who appreciate her distinct designs. She retains a very hands on approach to design and it’s usually the treasures of her scrap books and travel memories that inspire the collections.

The long awaited Christmas collection launches 14th November and is like a weave of different stories and craft techniques that Gudrun and her design team have been inspired by over her years of travelling.

The result is colours symbolising different parts of our wide world. Gudrun Sjödén came up with ochre yellow for Mexico, ecru and snowstorm for the Arctic, agave green for South America, red for China and greyish green for the Nordics. This is a patternful collection embracing everything from exclusive silk for sparkly winter parties and warming layering pieces in wool to home textiles for cosy weekends.
