Taught by Claire Brewster
Claire has been living and working in London for over 20 years, but started life in the semi-rural county of Lincolnshire. Using old maps, atlases and other found paper and metal, she creates beautiful, delicate and intricate sculptures of flowers, birds and insects. Inspired by nature and the urban environment, she exhibits nationally and internationally, showing regularly in London, other parts of the UK, USA, Australia, and Europe.
On this course you will learn how to turn a drawing into a paper cut. Templates will be provided but you can bring your own drawings to work with. Maps will be provided but if you have an imagery you would particularly like to work with do bring it with you.
This workshop is suitable for beginners.
