Aranya Naturals, Scarf, Polly
Aranya Naturals is a community development project started in 1994 located in Munna, a mist-clad hill station in Kerala, India. Aranya focus's on gathering raw materials from its surrounding area and uses only fibres that take natural dyes such as silk, cotton, hemp and jute in their products. The products are made by a talented work force of disabled young people.
This scarf is dyed with natural indigo using a clamped shibori process to give a clean edged resist. 100% pashmina. 150 cm x 212 cm.
