The embroidery work shows the map of the rivers in Bangladesh that brings into evidence, the strong relationship and vulnerability of this country towards a rising sea level caused by climate change. According to the 3rd IPCC Report of 2001, 5.5 million Bangladeshi would lose their home if the sea level rises of only 45 cm. Bangladeshis have one of the smallest ecological footprints in the global comparison.
