Description (story of the item): The background colors and patterns are the typical patterns of Bhutan’s national dress which mostly consists of colors that are elements of nature. The prominent string of flowers popping through the colors signifies wealth. Our weavers blended the flowers and signs on this piece to show the bond among our older and younger generation who appreciates their culture which helps to revive the dying art of weaving yathras.
It is a hand-made textile fiber, woven using AZO free wool on hand loom and it can be machine washed and hand washed, using cold water.
