The Kimono was woven on a foot loom in two panels, as a modern garment. It was woven by Dominga Coche in the town of San Juan La Laguna
The piece was woven in a workshop / house from the weaver. The ikat was made in then same traditional technique as traditional skirts are made. It is woven with the traditional foot loom with new color combinations.
