The all-women team at RaasLeela makes products where every design, material, and process is chosen thoughtfully. They keep the environment, process, and the maker in mind first, and fashion comes second. RaasLeela is not a fashion brand. Fashion is a by-product of their work. 

RaasLeela follows sustainability as a lifestyle by repairing, conserving, and consuming less and by following eco-friendly practices. It is a solution-driven brand. Every design, material, and process is chosen thoughtfully to serve a purpose. Rather than making "Just Beautiful" products, RaasLeela's focus is on making a difference – in consuming resources, in reviving crafts, and in providing inclusive growth to people who are connected with the brand. Meet the Maker event description

The session will introduce you to RaasLeela's practice and proposed activity for the upcoming workshop Gujarati Embroidery and Mending Stitches, which will be held on Saturday 4 & Sunday 5 May 2024. There will be time for questions at the end of her talk.

If you would like to join the workshop Gujarati Embroidery and Mending Stitches, please book to attend at least 4 weeks ahead of time to ensure you receive the materials pack that is essential for participation in the workshop. The talk is included in the cost of the workshop.
