Ginkgo flowers in Bandhani shawl. This modern design is inspired by the patterns of Gingko flowers. Abstract in nature, the design uses ‘Bharti’ tie technique to fill-in the outline pattern.
‘Bharti’ is the most intricate of the hand tie-dye skills and has been on decline since 1970’s. Today only few artisans are left with this skill.
