Customer Service Representative

This is a full time, remote freelance maternity cover position beginning in October 2019. After the maternity cover, there is a possibility of a permanent position. 

Selvedge is a magazine that promotes textiles and textile makers from around the world. Now in its 16th year, we publish six issues a year as well as running workshops, fairs, tours and talks.  

The position of a Selvedge customer service representative involves answering telephone enquiries, email enquiries and monitoring our live chat. Enquiries relate to orders, workshops, tickets, subscriptions as well as payments.  We need someone who is self sufficient, polite and with a pleasant telephone manner.

Hours are flexible but we are hoping to find someone with availability between Mon - Fri during office hours, especially in the afternoon. Ideally also the occasional Saturday if possible.
