Linda Havrlíková is a farmer and designer from the Czech Republic. Linda is dedicated to the promotion of Czech sheep wool, which has been neglected in recent years. She also supports the traditional processing of wool in the textile industry and collaborates with local manufacturers. Wool processing and spinning has a very rich history in the Czech Republic, but has been disappearing since the 1990s. Linda would like to introduce and encourage increased demand for Czech wool. Under the eponymous brand, she designs minimalist, bespoke clothing from these 100% Czech woolen fabrics. Each garment takes into account the natural passage of time.
Linda would like her brand to be synonymous with sustainability. She now lives on a country homestead with a private farm and strives for the most sustainable way of life. On her farm, Linda keeps sheep (in addition to many other animals) and in the future wants to expand into processing of the wool. She would like to show others that sustainability can be easy, not only in one’s wardrobe but also in everyday life. She plans to host slow fashion workshops on her farm in the future.
