Description (story of the item):
In South-West archipelago of Finland people had wool under sheet, the old ones still during 1950`s. While giving warmth wool absorbs moisture and therefore it`s superior material in cold and wet circumstances of the coast. The old people knew that. The sheet were warm but they also were striped. Striped in different way and colours in different parishes. These striped wool sheet have inspired me in many years. You can wrap yourself in Seafarer`s wool blanket and feel how the sea wind is blowing.
Wool blankets are hand woven with pedal loom.
Materials: 100 % Finnish single wool yarn both in warp and weft
