Description (story of the item):
The PARCHEESI textile screams of my love for 'RANI PINK' or 'Hot Pink', rightly called the navy blue of India. The geometric layout is inspired by the ancient Indian board game of Parcheesi which was played by royalty and commonfolk alike. The two ends meld together at the centre to create a complex checkered pattern. This piece is again created using old basic striped blocks that are manipulated to create depth with overlay. It takes about 8-10 hours to execute and has to be made by one craftsman only from start to finish given the complex nature of printing.
