Description (story of the item):
Classic kimono collared, front open jacket, three-quarter length sleeves, quilted between layers of handwoven silk organza and cotton which lends a unique texture.
This upcycled garment is made of discarded yarns that come out of the process of Bandhani (traditional Indian tie & dye technique).
The visual language is inspired by impressionist paintings of Claude Monet and is our representation of the same.
Each piece is designed and executed in the studio. The product is hand composed, hand and machine quilted. Any irregularities only add to the beauty of this unique textile.
