Description (story of the item): Classic round neck jacket, full length sleeves, quilted between layers of net and cotton which lends a unique texture. Front open with a buttoned placket with handmade buttons for closure, and side pockets.
This upcycled garment is made of discarded yarns that come out of the process of Bandhani (traditional Indian tie & dye technique).
The visual language is inspired by an impressionist painting by Claude Monet titled ‘Under the Poplars’, and is our representation of the same.
Each piece is designed and executed in the studio. The product is hand composed, hand and machine quilted. Any irregularities only add to the beauty of this unique textile.
