Rows of gorgeous tiny bhuttis (ower motifs) bloom over the body-eld of this very expressive table cloth. Patterned in the inner border around the eld is a tessellated pattern of an abstract ower head. And a complex ornamentation of vine scrolls makes for a compelling view of the textile.
The table cloth is printed in Indigo for blue, with fermented iron for black, with resist paste for o-white backgroun. And a nal print with alum followed by boiling with Rhubab root to get the earthy tone of ochre background.
The product is made in Kachchh, India in my Ajrakh workshop using traditional Ajrakh techniques of resist-printing and natural dyeing.
