City Lit Art School is hosting a textile weekender as part of London Textile Month. A diverse series of hands-on workshops, from embroidery and weaving to digital textiles and quilting. There will be a choice of morning and afternoon sessions so you can book the courses that resonate most.
These workshops are opportunities for beginners and experienced enthusiasts alike, to get curious about what is possible within the wonderful world of textiles. A pocket of time to explore the traditional and contemporary. To find connection and relieve stress. Craft is a great alternative to meditation for those who cannot sit still. The repetition of stitching, to the clang of the loom as you weave can bring on a real sense of calm.
City Lit Art School is part of City Literary Institute, a charity, not for profit adult education college in the heart of London. Our tutors are professionals within industry and Crafts with their own creative practice.
