Saturday 25 June 2023, Meet Tiffany Mumford from The Wolves Workshop

From an occasional hobby, The Wolves grew into a lockdown project and then a second career for the fashion photographer Tiffany Mumford.

Created in 2020, The Wolves is a sustainable clothing brand that combines vintage bleu de travail workwear, with hand embroidery and appliqué. It is gender and size-inclusive, in a hope that the pieces can be enjoyed by all.

The original Wolves jacket was a handmade 1950s Cub Scout jacket covered in patches and appliquéd wolves found at a vintage showroom. Each Wolves piece is hand produced, with my now small team of occasional helpers in Brixton, South London.

Meet the Maker event description
This is a part of a series of Meet the Maker sessions that will give you a short introduction to textile makers and designers who run workshops with us. The event will consist of a meet the maker session and demonstration with Tiffany Mumford. The session will introduce you to her sustainable clothing brand, her inspirations and craft as well as a demonstration of her work. There will be time for questions at the end of her talk.

Event recording
