Traditional vintage womens belt 'Kera'. This is a 60 year old vintage belt woven by Klezang's late mother Tshechu in their village in Khoma in eastern Bhutan. Kelzang learned how to weave from her late mother when she was just eight. The belt is woven on cotton ground with multi colored woolen patterning. These vintage pieces are rare and beautiful. Great piece for textile collectors.

MATERIALS Sheep's wool and hand spun cotton. Hand spun in Khoma.
