Description (story of the item): hand embroidered women’s linen blouse, traditional design, made with soft linen fabric white colour, decorated with white and colour cotton moulinee(DMC). Embroidery techniques used for this blouse: combination of cross stitch , ''shtapivka'' and ''merezshka''(lacework).
Embroidered neckline is also traditionally decorated with hand done tassels, at the front is a small opening, which gives more options while wearing the blouse. Reglan sleeves have little gathering in the top part and bottom parts are also decorated with hand done tassels, so that sleeve’s weirdness can be changed.There is just a little gathering at the back, so it does not look ''puy''. This traditional shirt cut is universal for any woman's gure. The ornament which is used for decoration of this blouse has a very interesting story: according to the legend,the first embroidered shirt with such ornaments was presented to the wife of Ukrainian Getman(colonel) Pavlo Polubotok in late 18 th century. Then it appeared in one of art exhibition of
Ukrainian old crafts in 1902 and since that time motifs of "Polubotok shirt'' ornaments started to be used all over Ukraine. This famous and loved by many artisans motif now is made in different color combination, It takes about three weeks to made this item, with ready embroidered patterns, the blouse can be sewn in any size due to custom order. Also available in a red/burgundy red/grey colour combination.
