Clerkenwell Design Week 2024: Pioneering Solutions for Textile Waste

Clerkenwell Design Week 2024: Pioneering Solutions for Textile Waste

May 22, 2024

The waste age calls for innovative design and pioneering solutions to address the challenges of textile waste.

As we enter a new era of recycling, it's time to leave the throwaway culture behind. We must embrace waste as a valuable resource and develop new ways to recycle materials repeatedly. As part of Clerkenwell Design Week 2024 (21 - 23 May 2024), Gabriel demonstrates its pioneering approach.

A Revolutionary Take-Back System
In a quest to reduce textile waste and conserve resources, Gabriel Loo by Gabriel has discovered a way to close the loop and transform textile waste into new products. Through a revolutionary take-back system and a new category of products based on textile-to-textile recycling, they are leading the charge.

Where others see trash, Gabriel Loop sees possibilities. Instead of allowing textile waste to end up in incinerators or landfills, they collect it from their customers and their own upholstery productions, recycling it into vibrant new textiles. With the belief that every piece of fabric has a story to tell, they are committed to giving it a new life.

Reduce Waste, Save Resources
By recycling waste into new textiles that can be recycled repeatedly, we create a circular system—a closed textile loop—that reduces waste generation, conserves natural resources, and lowers CO2 emissions.

Designed for Continuous Recycling
Gabriel Loop's uncompromising approach to great design enables them to close the loop. Every single Gabriel textile, including upcoming recycled Gabriel Loop products, is engineered to meet the highest design standards, ensuring a high recycle value.

Join the Loop
Solving the textile waste challenge requires collective action. We invite you to join us in closing the loop and take a revolutionary step towards a more sustainable future for the furniture and textile industries.

Gabriel will be exhibition at Clerkenwell Design Week (21-23 May 2024).
