ASEEDONCLÖUD
ASEEDONCLÖUD derives from a picture book title (A Seed On Cloud) created by designer, Kentaro Tamai. Their collection are based on the working clothes, inspired by late 19th to early 20th century workwear, imagining alternative ways of life and work and the clothes that would be required.

Tamai focuses on the functionality and comfort of working clothes, translating them into a contemporary style, based on fictitious professions and their lifestyles that he creates. These fictitious professions define the style and practicalities of the clothes while creating a way of life and daily activities that sit within and outside of our reality.

ASEEDONCLÖUD would like to deliver a “flower” to your life with a lot of thank for your shopping. So, every single our products come with seeds of nature to you. The fabrics used are carefully selected and feature various details that can be used in daily work and life. In particular, the fabrics woven slowly and without glue on Belgian looms in the 1970s at a canvas factory in Okayama that has been in operation since the Meiji era, and the Unsai-ori fabrics dyed in special colours on shuttle looms, are durable enough for professional use. This is clothing that could become the vintage of the future.
