Mint Gallery: Connecting Threads
Established in 1998 by Lina Kanafani, Mint is a design gallery based in central London. Renowned for its contemporary collections it offers cutting edge design cleverly mixed with innovative one-off pieces.
Mint represents exclusive works by internationally recognised designers as well as new emerging talent. The gallery complements contemporary design with unique handcrafted ceramics, glassware and textiles.

Lina is dedicated to showcasing limited-edition pieces and regularly commissioning artists and designers to create pieces exclusive to mint. There is a particular focus on objects that embrace sustainability and innovation, without compromising on poetic and timeless aesthetics.
During the summer season, the refreshing breeze carries a vibrant energy that ignites our creativity and allows our imagination to flourish. It is a time when we feel connected to each other and the world around us. Just as threads are woven, knotted, and intertwined to form intricate, delicate designs, the summer season invites us to explore the unique skill and unparalleled craftsmanship of their maker.

Crafted to capture the essence of the ancient Celtic holiday that celebrates the awakening of spring. Imbolc, a time of new beginnings, marks the first gentle stirrings of life after the long winter slumber. These delicate creations pay homage to the goddess Brigid, embodying the spirit of womanhood, poetry, craft, and prophecy. These intricate vessels are crafted using japanese Tatami paper yarn. The yarn then is hand-painted and woven with natural yarns including wool, silk, mohair and cotton.
