Threads of the Vale: Join the Pewsey Interiors Trail

Threads of the Vale: Join the Pewsey Interiors Trail

November 5, 2025
Share

The Pewsey Vale has always known how to make an entrance — though usually a quiet one. A stretch of green Wiltshire countryside folded between Marlborough and Devizes, it’s the sort of place where mist lingers over the fields, white horses gleam on the hillsides, and creativity stirs beneath the calm. This November, that creativity becomes a chorus as the first Pewsey Vale Interiors Trail props open its gates on 13–14 November 2025. What's more, after the two open-studio-style days, the trail will remain open, with maps available in the local area for visitors to pick up and follow.

Map of the Pewsey Vale Interiors Trail 2025

Across six locations in and around Pewsey, seven of the Vale’s designers and makers are joining forces for a two-day celebration of craftsmanship, interiors, and rural imagination. Visitors are invited to wander from barn to workshop, to explore fabrics, talk texture, admire colour, and discover provenance over cups of tea. Between stops, the landscape itself becomes part of the pleasure — winding lanes, wide skies, and ancient hedgerows forming a backdrop that feels lifted from a watercolour.

Each stop tells a different story:

Sarah.K’s hand-blocked linens bring a soft poetry to the table.

Kate Guinness Design layers antiques, art, and colour.

Tate & Darby’s rugs are all warmth and texture.

Barneby Gates reimagines British wallpaper traditions with hand-drawn patterns that wink at history.

Katie Garland Designs offers refined homewares that balance craftsmanship with comfort.

Indigo Antiques remains a destination in itself — 13,000 square feet of barns and gardens brimming with furniture and objects from India, China, and Japan.

MADE in the Pewsey Vale, meanwhile, anchors the trail with its gallery and artist collective, a space dedicated to supporting the area’s creative pulse and encouraging collaboration among local makers.

After the launch weekend, the trail will remain open with maps available locally, encouraging visitors to explore the valley at their own pace. Some studios will switch to visits-by-appointment, keeping the spirit of discovery alive year-round.

For those who believe homes deserve to tell stories, and that beauty lives in the details, the Pewsey Vale Interiors Trail offers a welcome pilgrimage.
