For over 25 years, Roger Oates Design has been known for its signature stripe flatweave rugs and runners. Using 100% wool, daring colours and distinctive stripe designs, flatweave became an instant hit with interior designers. Now, they also have a range of handcrafted, stylish home accessories; a carefully curated range of handmade cushions, benches, and travel bags in the same Roger Oates iconic designs, beautifully made by skilled artisans across the UK.

Roger Oates Travel Bags are made from the same luxurious flatweave that graces the floors and stairs of contemporary and traditional homes across the globe; a narrow width woven textile, reinvented for the 21stcentury by developing a traditional weaving process using specially adapted 1950’s Hattersley fabric looms.

Roger Oates Travel Bags are the perfect companion for long weekends away, or intrepid trips further afield; exquisitely handcrafted by a well-established artisan bag maker in the north of England, and beautifully finished with the finest leather and brass detailing, the distinctive striped luggage comes in a range of Roger Oates’ most celebrated flatweave designs.

The Masai Indigo Travel Bag, in tonal blues and neutrals finished with a dark brown leather, is perfect for a classic look. The Masai design is a modern re-working of a long-archived Roger Oates pattern; high contrast herringbone and rib weave structure create strong pattern and a decorative repeating stripe. The antique brass detailing and complementary cotton drill lining provide stylish finishing touches. An adjustable shoulder strap option is hidden inside, for those occasions when you haven’t quite managed to pack light. Conveniently cabin luggage sized, at approximately W50cm x D20cm x H34cm, it is perfect for international work trips and city breaks.

We have reserved a Masai Travel Bag, worth £410, for the winner, but are happy to change it to another design if the winner would prefer.
