Founded by friends June Summerill and Bernadette Bishop, the flagship store opened on a quiet corner in London’s leafy Holland Park over 25 years ago, with a second store following in 2017 in the heart of Belgravia. Relationships with unique artisans and vendors have helped to build two incredibly special spaces where customers can go to feel comfortable and inspired whilst finding a gift, ornament, essential or finishing piece. Summerill & Bishop believe that table-dressing not only heightens the enjoyment of a meal, but also extends the time spent at the kitchen table – a place where we can sit with loved ones, mull over decisions, share our everyday, and put the world to rights. The team and their collaborators create exclusive tablecloth lines which are at once vibrant, timeless and true to the essence of Summerill & Bishop’s mission: to bring people together, and make memories around the table.
