A SELVEDGE CHRISTMAS MESSAGE
As we approach the holidays, I want to express my personal and heartfelt gratitude for your encouragement and support of the Magazine during this challenging year. We simply would not have made it without you.
We commissioned Rufina Bazlova to create our Christmas message.
Rufina Bazlova is a Belarusian artist who works in textiles, illustration, performance, and costume design. In 2020 she gained an international profile for her series 'The History of Belarusian Vyzhyvanka', which uses traditional folk embroidery to depict the peaceful social movement against the violent government suppression in Belarus, her home country. From her home in Prague where she has lived for five years, Rufina creates embroidered drawings depicting Belarusians speaking out against the dictatorship.
Enjoy and have a happy holidays!

So sorry to hear this – you’re right, it doesn’t take much to give a bit of kindness to someone in need. We hope you feel better soon.
It is more than time people were kind to each other especially as people in my street and village have not bothered to check whether I am OKAY. I even have to plead with the Doctor’s Surgery to obtain the correct help. After nine months I know my left Thyroid Gland needs to be taken seriously. I will be having a Blood Test tomorrow in the hope that my Thyroid Level will be check plus that they will test me for Anemia.
