Pretty In Print
This December Mary Ward House in central London will be transformed into a textile capital for one day only, as the Selvedge Winter Fair gets underway.
One of our exhibitors, Cambridge Imprint is a design partnership based in Cambridge, England. Creating a stylish range of artisanal products with patterned paper, this company is made up of painter Claerwen James, textile artist Jane Powell and ceramicist Ali Murphy, who each share an interest in pattern, texture and the beauty of household objects in everyday use.
Cambridge Imprint's range of stationery and desk furniture includes handmade box files, portfolios, letter trays, notebooks, and cards. Everything has a lively hand-drawn feel, featuring joyful illustration and typography in beautiful colours.
Influenced by the renowned German designer Elizabeth Friedländer, most famous for creating the Elizabeth font and escaping Nazi Germany, these beautiful notebooks indulge in the playful life of colour and pattern, inspired by the shapes and forms found so often in the natural world.
Cambridge Imprint will be exhibiting at the Selvedge Winter Fair on 1 December 2018. To find out more about the event and to book your ticket, click here. You can get 2 for 1 tickets with the code FAIR2FOR1.
