In print and in person
Nancy Straughan has been on our to-feature list for over a year! We have nothing but admiration for the way she has established and grown her eponymous company, Nancy Straugan Printed Textiles after graduating in 2011. Since then she has sold designs to some the UK's best department stores and additionally works as a freelance craft tutor, stylist and journalist – writing a monthly craft column for the Guardian newspaper.
Made in England, her simple 1950s and Scandinavian inspired prints are not only modern but also printed onto ethically sourced, organic fabrics – so no need to feel bad about treating yourself! Nancy is careful to use materials and techniques which have minimal impact on the environment - such as digital printing, eco friendly inks and recycled paper and the result is well-considered and timeless.
Nancy will host a pop up shop on Tottenham Court Road in West Elm over the last weekend in May where she will be launching brand new exclusive products. Join her from 10am-6pm on the 29th-31st of May – West Elm, Tottenham Court Road, London. And find out more about her work here nancystraughan.blogspot.co.uk

I love all your designs and because you use organic materials they make them even more appealing. I’m wondering whether you sell on line or only through retailers?
