Olivia Streatfeild-James, winner of Selvedge's prize for Excellence in Textiles, grew up in Perthshire drawing the wildlife around her. Little did she imagine she'd be digging out her childish drawings to use as inspiration for her degree design work. Not that you'd know when looking at her refined drawings of pheasants, hedgehogs and mischievous squirrels. But her topsy-turvy houses and maze of trees subtly capture her inner child's perspective and playfulness. Olivia's work will be on display at the Selvedge shop in October.
