Jade, a recent graduate from the University of Huddersfield, has always been fascinated by history. Through an appeal in her local paper she arranged to meet veterans and ex land army girls from World War II. The result is a series of embroidered pieces that collates memories and artifacts from their lives in works designed to keep their memories alive and accessible to future generations.
