OCELOT
"Angelina DeAntonis began Ocelot in 1998, focusing the line on hand-dyed itajime, and using all natural fibres. With a commitment to the integrity of fine crafting."
Since it began Ocelot has evolved from producing just a handful of pieces to over eighty different styles, all by hand and in house. DeAntonis' designs are stimulated by her desire to question the constraints of how we are expected to dress. Environmental sensitivity is at the core of Ocelot's manufacturing process and DeAntonis' at home studio is a great example of sustainable craftsmanship at work. You may recognise these distinctive designs from Selvedge issue 7, page 55.
