Radiance On Show
Chinese contemporary artist Zhuang Hong Yi is now presenting a brand new exhibition, Radiance, in the HOFA Gallery in London’s Mayfair until April 8th. Zhuang Hong Yi has been enlightening the art industry for years with his textile paintings, exhibiting at renowned global art fairs - including Scope in NYC, Tefaf, and Art Basel - with exhibitions and shows proving a sell out before opening night.
His works are heavily inspired by Chinese materials and Dutch culture, and this new exhibition epitomises these influences. The unique colour-changing ability of his flowerbeds from different focal points has led Zhuang to patent his intricate technique, something only a handful of artists in the world have ever achieved.
Zhuang Hong Yi was born in ShiChuan, China, in 1962 and has been living and working in the Netherlands for over 25 years. Even after many years of residence in Europe, Zhuang still holds his studio in Beijing where he returns a couple of times a year to work, collect new materials and to get inspiration. Now in its final week, Radiance will close on April 8th.
