"It is always amazing how much more you see when you really look, a perfect example of this was the surprising colours I found in an old Tea Rose on a cold winter’s day last February. The colours in this little faded flower ranged from antique gold to dusky pink. I have found that the more I look, the more I notice the extraordinary beauty and exquisite detail in the most commonplace of plants.” Sam Pickard, as told to Devon Life in 2015
Sam originally set up her printing studio in London in 1996, she has since moved to North Devon but her designs have consistently reflect both her skill as a printer and her talent for constantly finding new and delicate beauty in nature.
All fabric designs are printed in small batches onto the finest quality linen and wherever possible all materials and ancillaries are sourced from within the UK.
