Sandhill Cranes over Pajarito Acres

This tapestry is hand-woven by award winning artist Evelyn Campbell. Campbell was challenged to create a piece that illustrated passages, and inspired by a photograph of cranes flying over her home to their wintering ground in New Mexico, she wove ‘Sandhill Cranes over Pajarito Acres.’ The passage of the cranes says Campbell ‘has been a part of my life for 47 years’. For this piece Campbell won the ATA Award for excellence.
