STUDIO ASSISTANT WANTED
With a range of textiles made to offset austere modernist architecture, Larusi have produced a line of luxurious linens that offer warmth and comfort tailored to the coolest of interior spaces. Known mainly for their rugs, Larusi was set up by Souad Larusi almost 20 years ago specialising in weavings by the Moroccan Berber tribes. Now, using linen woven from European flax, Larusi home textiles are becoming a centrepiece of contemporary interior design, redressing the modernist aesthetic that has come to embody so much of the 20th century’s architecture. Now, they are seeking Studio Assistant to join their team.
Based in their North London studio, the successful candidate will work the Larusi team four days a week to assist in the day-to-day running of the business from liaising with suppliers and clients to looking after orders, assisting with sales, photographing stock and assisting with marketing campaigns. The ideal applicant will have experience in retail with exceptional customer service and personal skills, and of course will have a genuine interest in and knowledge of contemporary textiles.
Occupying a prime position in a niche market, Larusi have been introducing craft and handmade furnishings into contemporary interior design since 2000. The successful candidate will be expected to be a flexible, meticulous and self-motivated multi-tasker who can support and enhance the operational efficiency of the studio. This role has the possibility for future development within the company. The deadline for applications is 14 June, with interviews being held the week of 21 June.
To apply, please send a CV, cover letter and salary expectations to info@larusi.com.
