Summer Expo 2011...

A new exhibition at the Gemeente Museum is bringing much excitement to the Dutch Art World…  Inspired by the Summer Exhibition of the Royal Academy in London, Summer Expo 2011 is a new initiative that showcases the diversity of artistic talent from the Netherlands. Over 5000 works of all artistic disciplines were entered and 250 of them were exhibited this summer. We were delighted to hear that Tilleke Schwarz won third prize with her beautiful embroidery, Purr Chase. A fantastic achievement for textiles! Find out more here.
