The Yellow Wallpaper

The Yellow Wallpaper, launched today by The Crafts Council, is an online exhibition curated by artist Tom Gallant. The exhibition focuses on 'Dress 09' which was made in collaboration with fashion designer Marios Schwab. 'Gallant has used the 1892 novella The Yellow Wallpaper, a story which powerfully conveys a claustrophobic world inhabited by a Victorian wife passively imprisoned by her husband', as a framework for revealing the range of influences and inspirations which led to the making of 'Dress 09'.
