Tunnel Vision.
The Kingsway Tram Subway in London has been closed to the public since its last departure in 1952. But now, for one month only - two identical giant metal machines, each holding 162 spools of coloured cord will create a thick twist of rainbow rope as the machines gradually move apart along the freshly laid wooden rails.
Commissioned by arts organisation Measure, 'Chord' is created by British artist, Conrad Shawcross and is open until 8th November.
