This month you can find them at Decorex, the Fashion & Textile Museum, Focus 14 and participating in a study day at the V&A Museum. The long history of Watts is impossible to cover in a blog so seek them out this September and discover their vast contribution to British design… 'In the Making', Decorex International 2014, 21 – 24th September In this live interactive installation Watts bring their craftsmen to Decorex where you can watch them printing their designs using the original hand carved wooden blocks. 'Pattern Watts Architects' Wallpaper 1870 to Today' at the Fashion & Textile Museum celebrates the company's rich designs, and the genius, determination and ideals of the men and women who created them. ‘Giants of the Gothic Revival: Watts & Co from Pugin to Comper', Victoria & Albert Museum Study Day, 25th October 2014 This day explores the architecture, design and craft from the Victorians to the present; speakers include eminent art historians Alan Powers, Ayla Lepine, Michael Hall, Abraham Thomas, Mary Schoeser and Gavin Stamp.
