In 1954 Gerd Hay-Edie set up the workshop and design studio that would become
Mourne Textiles. Nestled at the foot of the idyllic Mourne Mountains the setting provided much inspiration for Gerd’s designs. Over the years she worked closely with many designers including Robin Day, Terence Conran, Sybil Connolly and Sheila
