After gaining a degree in Design from the Glasgow School of Art and a Masters in Fine Art from the Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia, I taught textiles for ten years before launching Selvedge in 2003. I wanted to publish a magazine as beautiful as the textiles represented within its pages. I have a hands-on approach to every aspect of the magazine and brand.
Many years on my obsession with textiles is stronger than ever. I love meeting and talking to makers, subscribers and customers about our shared passion.
