Description (story of the item):
Handwoven on traditional looms by Dagaare women weavers of the far north of Ghana, using cotton grown by smallholder African farmers under the ‘Cotton made in Africa’ initiative. Our cotton has been dyed a range of colours based on the hues that Dagaare people paint their houses, and the patterns of all our fabrics use traditional local designs. The fabric has then been handstitched by local seamstresses to create a unique and luxurious tablecloth. Handmade from start to finish.
Materials: 100% cotton grown by smallholder African farmers under the ‘Cotton made in Africa’ initiative, managed by the Aid by Trade Foundation.
