India, Muuyee, Neela Panchhi Cushion Cover

The Neela Panchhi cushion cover focuses on a single bird in flight, rendered through dense, monochrome Kantha stitching. The design feels calm and intentional, allowing the texture of the embroidery to take centre stage against an open, uninterrupted background.

Translated from hand-drawn imagery into textile form, the cover is quilted using two layers of handloom cotton. The restrained palette highlights the craftsmanship and rhythm of the stitches, making it a quiet but distinctive decorative piece.

Each cover is handmade, with natural variations that reflect the time and care invested in its making.

This design was developed in collaboration with Selvedge and is available exclusively on our website. All colours are derived from natural dyes. The motifs are hand-embroidered on both sides of the cushion, with fabric-covered button closures.
