The Kobe Fashion Museum celebrates the art, history and global diversity of fashion, housing one of Japan’s most extensive public collections of Western and folk costumes from around the world. Visitors can explore garments dating from the 18th century to the present, enriched by fashion literature and archives, and enjoy rotating special exhibitions that place style, culture and textile technique in dialogue. It is Japan’s first public museum dedicated to fashion and design.
